# Email Attachments

Send files to a process collection address to create or update tasks automatically.

BraveGen can accept and process email attachments that have been sent to a `collection address`. This is ideal for processing utility invoices and any other automated file requests. BraveGen can process all file types supported by the [File Upload Process](/carbon/core-concepts/data-collection/processes/file-upload.md)

The `collection address` is a unique email address for receiving files for any task **from a single process**. Files sent to this address will be added to any open task in this process, or create a new task if no open task exists.

The collection address is unique for *each process*, it is NOT a catchall collection address for all inbound data for your account.  Make sure you supply the correct address to your data supplier.
